Love in Action Ohio is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families. Our mission is to empower underserved communities by offering essential resources to enhance their lives. We collaborate with community partners across Ohio to support individuals and families facing challenges such as poverty, homelessness, and hunger. Through community outreach events, we strive to engage residents and foster positive change throughout Ohio.

Pastor Alisha Blackmon
Executive Director
Pastor Alisha Blackmon-Talbert is a compassionate community leader, pastor, and nonprofit executive dedicated to serving others through faith, outreach, and advocacy.
As the Founder and Executive Director of Love In Action Ohio, she has devoted more than 30 years to helping individuals and families overcome challenges by connecting them with vital resources, support services, and opportunities for personal growth. Pastor Alisha has built a reputation for her unwavering commitment to feeding the hungry, supporting the homeless, mentoring individuals in recovery, empowering families, and strengthening communities throughout Ohio. Her work has impacted countless lives through food distributions, community outreach initiatives, workforce development programs, senior services, and resource navigation efforts.
In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Pastor Alisha serves alongside her husband, Apostle Marvin Talbert, providing spiritual guidance, encouragement, and support to individuals seeking hope and transformation. Her passion for service is rooted in the belief that true leadership is demonstrated through compassion, integrity, and a willingness to meet people where they are.
Through Love In Action Ohio and her ongoing community involvement, Pastor Alisha continues to be a powerful voice for those in need, inspiring others to turn compassion into action and helping to create stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.
Danyee` Griffin
Assistant Executive Director
Danyee Griffin is a dedicated nonprofit leader, community advocate, and servant-hearted professional who serves as the Assistant Executive Director of Love in Action Ohio.
Through her leadership and commitment to community development, she works to empower individuals and families by connecting them with resources, support services, and opportunities that promote stability, growth, and hope.
As a key leader within Love in Action Ohio, Danyee helps oversee initiatives designed to address the needs of underserved and vulnerable populations. Her work includes community outreach, program development, volunteer engagement, family support services, and building strategic partnerships that strengthen neighborhoods and improve quality of life. She is passionate about creating environments where individuals are valued, supported, and equipped to overcome life's challenges.
Danyee's leadership is rooted in compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to serving others. Drawing from both professional experience and personal perseverance, she understands the importance of meeting people where they are and helping them move toward a brighter future.
